Q2 2024 Tycoon Games Performance on Unified Platform in the US

The second quarter of 2024 has been an interesting period for tycoon games on the unified platform in the US. Here's a snapshot of how top apps fared during this time, with insights from Sensor Tower.

Playrix's Township showed fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at nearly $32K and dipping to around $24K. Downloads started at around 7K in the first week and saw a decline to just over 2K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users (WAU) also saw a downward trend from 46K to 39K.

Supercell's Hay Day experienced revenue swings, with an initial $30K that fell to $17K in subsequent weeks before a late-quarter rise. Downloads hovered between 2K to 3K, while WAUs started strong at 91K but decreased to around 76K by the quarter's end.

Family Island — Farming game by Melsoft saw revenues starting at $15K, dropping to $8K, and then slightly recovering. Downloads showed a peak of 2.7K in early May, with a drop-off to 1K. The WAUs reflected a modest rise from 3.1K to 4.7K, then a decline to 3.8K.

VIZOR APPS LTD's Klondike Adventures: Farm Game had a revenue range from around $6.3K to $8.7K. Downloads were highest at 1.2K in the first week, with a decrease to 531 by the quarter's end. WAUs showed a slight peak towards mid-quarter but ended with a decrease from 8.8K to 7.2K.

Lastly, Dragonscapes Adventure from DianDian Interactive Holding started the quarter with revenue near $9K, dipping to $5.1K. Downloads peaked at 996 in late May but saw a decline to 372. The WAUs started at 8.8K and experienced a decrease to 7.1K.
